What is a cabin filter?
Where is it Fitted?
The filter housing is generally fitted behind the fire wall inside under the dashboard. The air has three basic paths through the vents in the car.
There are three paths are through the cabin filter into the cabin via the adjustable air vent directors.
The first is ambient temperature without any heating or cooling.
The second id over water pipes which are heated by the water circulating though the car’s radiator.
The third is via the air conditioner refrigerated pipes to cool the interior of the car
